Dr. W. R. Reddy is a seasoned civil servant with extensive experience in public administration, policy formulation, and rural development. As a senior officer of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), he served in key roles at both state and central levels, including the Ministries of Agriculture and Personnel, where he played a vital role in designing and implementing national programs.

As Director General of NIRDPR, he provided strategic leadership to India’s premier institution for rural development and decentralized governance, spearheading initiatives in capacity building, research, and institutional strengthening.
